The Committee for Physician Anesthesia Care is a political committee which advocates for physician anesthesiology issues in Colorado. The committee is governed by the campaign finance rules for political committees as defined by Article XXVII (Amendment 27) of the Colorado Constitution.
The Committee for Physician Anesthesia Care is a non-partisan political committee which supports those candidates for the state legislature who are supportive of the patient safety and medical practice goals of the CSA. Candidates who apply for support from the PAC must respond to a questionnaire and meet with the CSA Legislative Committee.
Total contributions to the Committee for Physician Anesthesia Care from an individual are limited to $500 per Congressional election cycle (e.g. December 2006 to November 2008). The ASAPAC is the national political advocacy committee for the ASA. The ASAPAC is actively involved supporting both Congressional and Presidential candidates in national elections. You must be a member of the ASA to contribute to the ASAPAC.
